How to Submit
Current Views in Dentistry
Current Views in Dentistry is currently developing a dedicated professional manuscript submission system. Until this system becomes available, manuscripts should be submitted by email to:
Submission Email
submit_cvd@sogapub.com
During this interim submission period, authors are asked to follow the instructions below.
1. Submit with a Cover Letter
Submit the prepared manuscript together with a cover letter. The cover letter should briefly introduce the manuscript and state that the work is being submitted for consideration in Current Views in Dentistry.
2. Indicate the Manuscript Type
Indicate the manuscript type in the cover letter. Authors should refer to the Author Guidelines and clearly specify the relevant article type, such as Original Research, Review Article, Scoping Review, Opinion, Letter to the Editor, or Technical Breakthrough.
3. Submit as a Microsoft Word File
The manuscript should be submitted in Microsoft Word format. At the initial submission stage, figures, graphs, and tables may be embedded directly within the same manuscript file and do not need to be submitted as separate files.
4. Prepare High-Resolution Figures in Advance
For figures, graphs, and other visual materials, the Editorial Office may request high-resolution original files after an acceptance decision or during the production process. Authors should prepare these files in advance. Current Views in Dentistry does not provide financial support for the preparation, redrawing, editing, or purchase of figures, illustrations, or graphical materials.
5. Ensure That the Submission Is Original
The cover letter should confirm that the manuscript has not been published previously and is not under consideration by another journal.
6. Confirm Authorship and Approval
The corresponding author should confirm that all listed authors have made appropriate contributions, have approved the submitted version of the manuscript, and agree to its submission to Current Views in Dentistry.
7. Disclose Conflicts of Interest and Funding
Any conflicts of interest, financial relationships, funding sources, or institutional support relevant to the work should be clearly stated in the manuscript and, where appropriate, in the cover letter.
8. Include Ethical Approval When Applicable
For studies involving human participants, animals, clinical data, surveys, interviews, or identifiable images, authors should provide appropriate information regarding ethical approval, informed consent, and relevant institutional review procedures.
9. Use a Clear Email Subject Line
Authors are encouraged to use the following format when submitting by email:
10. Wait for Confirmation from the Editorial Office
The Editorial Office will acknowledge receipt of the submission. If required information or files are missing, the corresponding author may be asked to provide additional materials before the manuscript proceeds to editorial assessment or peer review.
This email-based submission procedure is temporary and will be replaced once the dedicated online submission system of Current Views in Dentistry is launched.
